STRIKERS = Make EARLY diagonal runs. Look for the long ball through the air or by creasing the center-backs. Offer light support on defensive duties.

LEFT/RIGHT WINGS = Prevent attack from the outside. Play defense first. Offer attacking support from the outside. Play the cross or through ball. ALWAYS BE ABLE TO TRANSITION TO DEFENSE

CENTER DEFENSIVE MIDFIELD= Drop and provide defensive support. Mark the first attacking midfielder in your zone and play him man. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. When transitioning to offense, do not drop more than 10-12 yards passed the center line. Offer support for back passes, support for clearances.

LEFT/RIGHT CENTER-BACKS = Mark first attacker, striker, who comes into your zone and stay in man coverage. Play the strikers inside shoulder, forcing him to play wide.
