About this formation
Lucio and Hierro are CBs. R.Carlos and Cafu are the full backs, they'll go up and charge and provide width for the mid. Pirlo is the deep-lying playmaker over here. He's gonna distribute the ball to others and provide long passes. Gerrard's role is like B2B midfielder here. He'll go forward with the ball and also support the forward line, as well as fall back to the team's box to defend and help recover the ball. Kaka is the no. 10 over here, or a playmaker. He'll create goalscoring chances and pass the ball to his surrounding fellow mates as well as storm onto the opposition defence in counter attacks and also dominate the oppositon's half. Ronaldinho is a Left attacking midfielder over here. He'll carry the ball through the left wing and perform some key passes from there and also because that the left flank is secured, with Carlos. Rivaldo will play as right forward and a winger. He'll progress the ball through the left flank and sometimes cut-ins into the d-box whether to score by himself or pass it to Raul or Kaka.
