About this formation
We utilise the 4-1-4-1 formation because it enables the team to play in their preferable positions. With Hale as our no. 1 Goal keeper he can control the defense as he has proven to be a leader on the pitch. With two strong and tall defenders, they will be able to cover any aerial threats from the opposition. Out full backs always seem to perform and get the job done. Louey sits just in front of the defence, winning the ball and passing it out to a free player. Fountain on the left makes good runs and finds the pass to keep the play moving. Savedra is on the other wing, using his speed to get into space. Morant is the heart of the midfield, using his physicality and awareness to pick out the pass. His dribbling in the midfield opens up the play and creates real chances for the midfielders. His long shots are something to watch out for. Klonis, is the second top goals scorer in the team, he knows where the goal is. His is a complete forward, as he has a physical presence in the box allowing him to win headers as well as take the ball down and shoot for goal. His defensive mind is also a strength as, he wins tackles withing the midfield and links up well with Morant. Finally, the striker up top Pana has a strong goals to game ratio, as he has scored 11 goals in 9 appearances. He uses his pace to run past defenders and when he has a chance to shoot, he will take it. The link up play with Morant and Klonis make the trio a strong force going forward.
