About this formation
Swansea were a team that although their PL stint only lasted for 7 years in their history (the last season was very poor too), they were a team that most people would agree were a breath of fresh air. To see a team come up from the Championship and pass around the way they did and play exciting football was quite erotic at times. Therefore they are a welcome addition to my PL! The back 5 are more or less what they had during their very impressive seasons, its hard to improve on that. With Allen and oh yes, Jono Shevley covering the centre of the pitch with their incredible passing range, that gives Michu the freedom to play the game he showed the world he could. Sigurosson was always a consistent performer for them and James offers his pace and finishing on the left to stretch teams. Bony is just there to do what Bony does best - use his strength, aerial abilities and finishing to put the ball in the net. Honourable mentions are Danny Graham, Gomis, Borini, Dyer and Britton. The captain is Ashley Williams, as he was a rock during their successful run, and the manager was a toss up between Martinez and Rodgers. Purely because of what he has done outside of Swansea as well, I would opt for Rogers, although there is not much between them.
