    About this formation:

4-4-2 vs Athletico Madrid. Since without Torres, we need 2 striker.

    About this formation:

The best Liverpool formation and starting eleven against Benfica on Thursday April 8th, 2010. Will we see this? Of course not. Rafa Benitez will probably start Kuyt and still not have learned his lesson on the biggest debacle of the season for any major team: Lucas. Many favor a return to a 4-4-2 with Kuyt, Babel, Ngog or even Benayoun as the second striker, and that would be an improvement for sure. But the beauty of this formation is it puts our current best eleven on the field and is more attack oriented than the favored 4-2-3-1 even though it employs a central striker. Torres would hardly become stranded as Gerrard and Aquilani take turns moving forward into the hole, providing cover and service to Fernando.
