FOOTBALL FORMATIONS

Personally, I believe this is the best starting XI. Kelley has established her position as a LB and I truly believe she is the best person for the job. Chalups is good, but for someone whos been thrown into defense so quickly, I don't think she has the most time to learn a new position. Either Jill puts her in midfield or not on the roster at all.
Becky and Rampone are undoubtedly the best CBs on the team, Engen and Bue are good too, but the experience and hard work that comes from the former is unbelievable. Say no more about Kriegs. Just no dispute. Best RB in the world, male or female hands down.

Moving up to midfield, JJ is a defender, but she could be a really good holding defensive midfielder which would alleviate the stress from our higher...

We have established that Ali Krieger is one of the strongest RBs in the world, so she is a no-brainer. Becky and Christie have the best experience and best CBs. Kelley is also a very consistent LB, as seen in the 2012 Olympics, she deserves a start. She could also be subbed on for Meghan Klingenberg.


Julie Johnston would be a perfect DM interchangeable with Shannon Boxx.

Tobin is deadly once paired with Alex seen in the NWSL and various NT matches. Tobin could also be subbed off for Megan Rapinoe.

Moving into the forwards, Abby could be subbed on for Sydney in the last 30 minutes if we need a desperate change. It is very clear that Abby cannot sustain for a full 90 and would rather have her peak in a short 30 minutes instead of a mediocre performance...
