About this formation
This is a realistic squad for Liverpool next season. All the transfer additions have been extensively linked to us recently with the exception of Lavezzi who we have been linked with in the past. This team would offer us a great platform going forward with good options all over the pitch and the majority have proven premier league experience. We have additional young players at our disposal in Kelly, Spearing, Sterling, Morgan, Suso etc. I think a forward line of Lavezzi, Suarez and Mata offer skill, pace, movement and are all capable of scoring goals ala Barcelona. The midfield gives power and a solid platform to allow the forwards freedom to play. For the first time in a number of years we have good pace and ariel ability at the back. Dann is an extremely accomplished defender which was clear to see following his injury at B'ham and their sudden demise, Agger is our best defender but needs to stay free from injury. We would have excellent attacking ability from full backs whilst also being defensively sound. Reina is world class and the bench has many strong additions. With Kenny at the helm we could produce a real title challenge next season.
