About this formation
Fulham are a team I feel deserve to be in this PL due to the amount of time they have spent there. Every time they go down they seem to find their way back up. When I started looking at their players over time I started to realise how much quality they have had. With Van der Sarr behind Hangeland and Bocanegra that is a stable triangle. Paintsil was a good servant to the club and Konchesky was in some of his best form at this point, which got him a lot of plaudits (I think is time at Liverpool devalues how good he was). The middle 4 I think explain themselves. Malbranque and Dempsey are 2 players I immediately come to mind when thinking about Fulham. Although Gera spent more time at West Brom they didn't make my league, plus he was a key player in some of Fulham's best years. I was very happy for the chance to have Berbatov in my PL as I have always been a fan, Saha although hampered by injuries is supremely underrated. Honourable mentions are Parker, Bullard, Sidwell and Knight. My captain has to be Murphy, experienced and a good leader. The manager will be Roy Hodgson. Whilst Fulham are one of the weakest teams in this league, Roy is a manager who knows how to get the best out of smaller teams and is an expert at building hard to beat teams.
