About this formation
Liverpool Fans FC XI - Eurofan 2010
Have been chatting between us about how we might line up in Lviv (assuming everyone is sound).
With the heat being a killer, and with us having such a small squad,
it makes sense that we pack midfield so we can defend and attack
in numbers. This to me at least seems the most sensible
formation. Nas can support Ste upfront and Calen can me it a three when needed on the counter. Me (Phil) and Stu can sit in the middle and one can get forward with one defending at different times where possible. The back four picks itself, Declan will have to slot in at CB alongside Jamie, with Ronnie switching to the left this year and Adam in on the left.
With the formation above, we could form a 4-3-3 handily enough if we were dominating aswell.
Harry will be swapping with Bhupendra most likely and after that
we will have Neil as a sub and that's it, so the team above will most likely have to play most of our games. We have two games on Friday, 25 mins a half so that's 100+ mins each basically we have to get through. We'll have to try and make it as easy as possible on each other and take a breather / get some water in whenever possible as otherwise we'll be dehydrated especially if we've been on the ale the night before.
This year we're imposing a curfew, everyone in bed by 12 each night or you're off the team. Ste will be going around checking up on everyone so watch out.
