About this formation
Today, Ivory Coast take on Zambia in the Africa Cup of Nations final in Libreville. Ivory Coast were the pre-tournament favourites, having defeated Benin, Burundi and Rwanda to get to Gabon and Equatorial Guinea, and defeated Sudan, Burkina Faso and Angola in the group stage, Equatorial Guinea in the quarter-finals and Mali in the semi-finals. The Ivorians have only won the tournament once, in 1992, but have been denied victory for a while now, especially as their team looks one of the strongest in Africa. Drogba will want to avenge his penalty miss from the 2006 final where they lost on penalties to Egypt, while Zambia will want to win the final for the victims of the 1993 disaster in Libreville.
