About this formation
This formation because we have two very attacking wingers plus our wing backs are very attacking. Gerrard and M'Vila are well capable of covering for them if they are far upfield and cannot recover in time. Two attacking full backs in Johnson and Bale makes us very dangerous at every minute of a game. Shawcross and Agger goes well together because they are football players and like to pass the ball rather than hoof it over the field. They are good in the air and they are very good centre backs. Gerrard will be able to attack more in the presence of the impressive but young Yohann M'Vila. Ashley Young and Eden Hazard are the wing wizards who are quick and can score goals too. Suarez and Torres will be a handful for even the meanest defence in the world.
