About this formation
Jones and Evans at the back, Shaw and Rafael wing backs providing width with Carvalho as cover. Kroos/Kagawa/Mata in a free roaming role behind RVP and Rooney, who provide the penetration. Just need those two to form a more effective partnership and get used to how each other play so that they can switch position more fluidly. See Cole/Yorke for example.
