This is a modified version of former Argentina and Chile coach Marcelo Bielsa's 3-3-1-3 formation. It basically contains 4 attacking and 6 defensive players.
When in possession of the ball, the team would use the ball retention skills of the two central midfielders and their ability to create interplays with the winger forwards or wing backs to move the ball forward.
On attack, the wing forwards are regularly expected to join the striker in the box while the wing backs take their place on the wing.
