Knight is the 'IT' man of the moment, and will captain the Brazilian team into Rio, his safe hands in goal hopefully guiding them to the final! McElvain and Miller form the spine of this technically skilled and disciplined midfield, allowing Reed to get forward and spray passes to the left and right for Melchior and Burke to pick up. The back four, in Rasmussen, Iovinelli, Hinokosa, and Carnahan, have been solid all season for their respective clubs - let's hope they take their form to the World Cup! That said, Amanda DeFrancisco will be crucial to Brazil's hopes of triumph on home soil but after a season where she has been plagued by on and off-field strife, will she be able to put her difficulties behind him?
