I just wanted to visualise for once what would the best team all all time (with the players at their prime) look like.

For a manager, I'd pick Rinus Michels of course.

For the Striker, I seriously hesitated with Raul, because I cannot think of two more prolific goalscorers inside and outside of the box. Cruyff, Maradona, Messi simply can't compare to Best and Garrincha on the wings with Pelé in support, which says a lot about them...

Sir Bobby in a creative role because he was one of the greatest footballers of all time, bar none, and Duncan Edwards in the box-to-box defensive role, because some say that he would have been better than Pelé himself.

Amoros and Maldini as Fullbacks, because of their sheer athleticism and intelligence. The Santos brothers were worthy considerations, but Brazil would have been far too represented ;)

Beckenbauer and Baresi as Centerbacks/Sweepers, what more is there to say?

Yashin between the sticks, hesitated with Zoff, Trautmann and Casillas. But the Lion gets my pick...
