Carroll in the centre with Gerrard playing the box to box midfielder. If the ball is being played in the middle of the pitch Suarez and Johnson on either side of Carroll. If the ball is being played down the right Suarez can give us that width with Johnson also joining in on the attack with Johnson also giving us even more width. If the ball is been played down the left it's the same as the right, Johnson and Taiwo giving us that width we so desperately need. Lucas to protect the back four and coming into the attack only if we need to stretch the ball to the other side of the pitch. We also have Agger who is an attacking CB who can roam forward a bit when he needs to. We would have Carra and Cahill holding the line.
