This formation seems most accommodating for Arsenal almost transforming into a 4-3-3 when attacking. It has pace up and down the wings and up front (providing Welbeck can find the goal). At the back there is strength and defensive quality, which has been shown at times and in the middle of the pitch there is creativity and balance to link the defence and bring the forward players into play.

In each position, I don't think there is another player in the Arsenal team who would be better suited to that role, but definitely as sub. e.g. Cazorla to come on at No. 10.
