Similiar to Guardiola's tactics with Barcelona from 2009-2011 which made them the best club side of all time.
Terry and Campbell's partnership will add strength, height and power to the defence, they will never leave their third of the pitch and will press their opponents to the maximum, they are La Viola's Puyol and Pique.
Riise and Walker will play as wing-backs on both sides of the defence, one will stay back as the other goes forward to add cover to the defence should they be hit on the counter, pace and power is added to either side of the defence with these two.
La Viola's Xavi figure comes in the form of Mikel Arteta, he doesn't add a lot of pace to the side but makes up for it with considerable passing abilities and playmaking skills, he will sit back in the centre of the pitch, supports the team in counters as well as defense.
Morgan Schneiderlin is Mikel Arteta's partner in the central midfield spot, he will play as a box-box midfielder, he can score plenty of goals as well as contributing greatly to the defence.
Redcafe users doubted our front four but not to worry.
Di Canio and Bergkamp will play as inter-changing inside forwards who will play forward a lot, as Hasselbaink goes in deep to collect the ball, the two inside forwards will become centre forwards while Le Tissier and Hasselbaink look to bring the ball back into the attack.
La Viola will play an attacking style of football (soccer for hipsters) with their passing preference being short passes.
The manager - Herrera aka Pep Guardiola.
