Defense may not be Liverpool strong point but is what will win them games, so it is important to have a formation leaning toward keeping goals out. For me personally, keeping Balotelli on the field is pointless, and so is having Lambert but we''re not really spoilt for choice in this department. Sterling and Countinho are strong and will hopefully help Lambert out with some goals. Can and Henderson will mostly defend with Gerrard, but have to deliver accurate through balls to the forwards to score as many goals as possible.
