Lineup (3-4-2-1)

Essentially a deep defensive line counter-attacking system with 3 center backs,two wing backs, two box-to-box midfielders,two attacking midfielders and one centre forward.

- Johnson and Moreno are Attacking wingbacks running up and down the flanks and covering the wide areas during all phases or play (crucial defensive positions)
- Coutinho and Sterling are Attacking midfielders (playmakers) that cover the wide areas during the defensive phase; during the transition phase and the attacking they tend to open the spaces in the opposition defence by running into the little pockets available (crucial attacking positions)
