Lineup (4-2-1-3)

Personally I really like this formation.
Michael K is versatile, hes fast, and has good technique and hes fearless, I dont know much about Si or Danny but you've rated them so I expect they'll be quite tidy. Obviously the problem here is Ste sits this one out from the start but if he isn't fit enough to last more than a half then we have to have an immediate tactic ready to switch too as that's a certainty. Calen could do with support but if you played in a more forward role with slightly less tracking duties, we could ensure we had support for him when we're in posession. Mike P is a traditional winger and he and Rory can offer width plus the option of cutting inside and changing positions/wings if needs be. I am happy to sit in the middle of the park, hopefully help the back 4, be an outlet at all times when players are under pressure and help form a partnership with Si (if he travels) or Keiran (ditto) or whoever else can occupy that role which I see as a proper DM.The Masch to my Lucas so to speak. You're in the Gerrard behind Torres territory, free to roam and hopefully pick out Calen with a through ball or to let fly if given the opportunity, or when we get it wide to provide some aerial threat along with Rory if we can get into the box en masse.
The CB pairing seems tried and tested by now. Neil Maher might be underestimated too, he may be slow perhaps but hes vocal, strong in the air and he'll organise and read the game well and be a big help to Declan I reckon. Both fullback spots are open to possibility imho.
