Southampton F.C. Squad. 4-3-3. Stekelenburg in goal, with Forster out he is currently out best option, Cedric at right back over Martina, I feel he's shown he can perform at the standard or even better than Clyne. Of course Fonte is in, solid CB and great captain, next to him van Dijk, I feel van Dijk has proved himself to be solid at the back and is already scoring goals so he gets the other CB spot. Bertrand at LB, Matt Targett could have got into the team but I feel Bertrand is just that bit better than him. Moving to the midfield, we have the partnership of Wanyama and Davis, Wanyama is our muscle in midfield and gets the ball out well and Davis is a great technical option for long through balls and defense splitting passes. At CAM we have Ward-Prowse who is one of the, in my opinion, best young talents in the league, he provides, like Davis, a good option for through balls and passes, and with his fantastic set-pieces, he's a clear option for corners and free-kicks. Moving to the wingers we have Tadic and Mane, Tadic can take on players perfectly, his quick feet and turning ability make him a nightmare for defenses and with the option of Mane, a pace wizard and proven goalscorer he can sit comfortably in that wing, same going for Mane putting in long crosses for the big man up front. Pelle has been an absolute gem up front this season and has been both setting up and scoring goals for us so he is an obvious choice without a doubt.
