This formation is purely based on my belief that Wayne Rooney is the new Paul Scholes.
The Signing of L.Diarra from R.M.F.C is highly likely and playing him alongside D.Fletcher would give Rooney a free role in the hole behind Chicharito.
Having these 2 defensive engines would also allow the 2 wingers to get forward in support. creating a 3 man attack with blistering pace, skill and precision.
All being fed by the creative genius of Rooney in his favoured role.

Think back to the days of Rooney, Ronaldo and Judas(Tevez) being fed by Scholes. and backed up by Carrick and Fletcher. unstoppable.
