Manchester United Football Formation
Lineup (4-2-3-1)
De Gea · Smalling · Bailly · Kurzawa · Shaw · Pogba · Rooney · Rashford · Mahrez · Martial · LukakuWith the two strong centre-backs, Smalling and Bailly, would allow either of the pacy fall backs to drive up field while the other tucks up into the centre leaving three in defence while either Pogba or Rooney could also tuck just infront of the defence to give the attack as little options as possible. Both Pogba and Rooney have great vision making them an excellent duo to work together in the heart of the team. Either of the centre-miss have to ability to quickly dispatch the ball to Martial, Mahrez, Rashford or even Shaw or Kurzawa. With the tremendous skill and pace from Mahrez and Martial, dribbling the ball into space wouldn't be a challenge and with the support of either the centre-miss of the either fall-backs could get the ball forward quickly. With Rashford's great pace and dribbling skills you would think that up front is the only position for him however, with his amazing vision and ability to pass the ball into space - putting him up front would almost be a waste of his talent. At the front Lukaku offer so much as an attacker. He can dribble through defenders and with his pace, makes him any defender's nightmare. His reading of the play, along with his pace, would mean that receiving balls from midfield or the wing would be easy. He height means that he could get to high and low balls making him a excellent converter of changes. As Rashford develops I'm sure he is going to make an excellent striker but with his passing, a centre-attacking role is certainly a role in which he could thrive.
