I split the players to couples, so they never lose their position and control each other. Smalling will never move away from the position he is, despite Bailly is going to cover the RB position when Valencia go forward. In this situation blind becomes the Smalling's couple and shaw follow him as a LB . The same is aplying at the other side, namely when shaw go forward Blind becoming the LB, smalling with his couple Bailly becomes CBs and valencia comes to cover his defending role, the RB position. Pogba is a couple with valencia to control the rythm and style of his play and always give him an option to play the ball. Mata with Mkhitaryan are the creative playmakers to give that something special to the team with their great passing and ball control. Εssentially, they are both CAMs but when Valencia is not going forward one of them is going as a RW. Ibrahimovic is the main striker who rarely move out of his position, he has Martial as his parnter so when shaw is becoming the LW martial comes as a 2nd striker, when shaw remains as a left back, martial is the main LW . When it is the time to defence it is something like 5 defenders (Shaw-Blind-Smalling-Bailly-Valencia), 3 midfielders (Pogba-Mkhitaryan-Mata) and 2 forwards (Martial-Ibrahimovic).
