Manchester United Football Formation
Lineup (4-3-1-2)
david de gea · chris smalling · eric bailly · luke shaw · antonio valencia · michael carrick · juan mata · anthony martial · paul pogba · zlatan ibrahimovic · marcus rashfordi chose this formation for a number of reasons. Let's start off in net. David De Gea, the worlds best and do doubt the premier leagues best, a no brainier. No more needs to be said about this wonder specimen of a man. As we get to the defence, the two centre backs are Chris Smalling on the right and Eric Bailly on the left. Eric bailly is wonderfully gifted in every aspect on the ball and off the ball, Chris Smalling still has room to improve but will surely improve with Eric Bailly bringing the stability to the back. Next we have the full backs who are just a bit more forward than the two men at the back. On the left we have Luke Shaw who was recently very badly injured but came back better and stronger, his defensive contribution and attackint threat makes him the perfect left wing back. Antonio valencia is at right wing back, his pace and power is the main reason for this but he still does enough defensive work to get his place. His lovely crosses will meet Zlatans head perfectly. In centre defensive mid we have Michael Carrick, simply because he is always looking to attack and his through balls are deadly. Most underrated midfielder since sliced cheese. Ahead of him on the left of midfield we have Anthony Martial, his direct attacking and deadly pace means he can run on and score himself like we seen him do many times last season or pass it to the forwards and let the magic happen. On the right we have Juan Mata, speed, passing, dribbling, shooting. The little man has it all. He is the perfect right midfielder and creates a lot of magic including goals and assists. Ahead of him we have the million dollar man. Or should i say £87 million Paul Pogba. Whilst he may struggle to find form, once he has found it he is the complete midfielder. Attacking, defending, you name it he has it. Already one of the best midfielders in history when he finds his feet, if he stays in form and continues to develop he will certainly be the worlds best for years to come. Ahead of him is the local lad Marcus Rashford. He doesn't look all that but he will tear you apart at the age of 18. One of the best talents in history at 18 years of age and if he continues how he has been, he will be quite the striker in the future. Finally, the man, the myth, the legend. Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He has played everywhere and won everywhere. Now he is coming to take over England. Whilst his only downfall is speed, his height, agility, strength, power and unpredictability makes up for that. He is the sort of man to be quiet until the 90th minute then score an overhead kick. His confidence and ego are just what Manchester United need.
