The Anchor is a formation created by Nait Ragipi. It is specifically created for ultra attacking teams such as Arsenal. The use of 2 pacey wing backs provides extra men in the middle of the park when holding possession of the ball and also provides extra width when attacking from the wings. The spine of the team is anchored by two points, the central defending pair and the midfield. The team "MUST" moves up and down the park in unison as a formation is heavily reliant on players playing their position.
