this formation keeps the idea of sweepers and wingbacks in the modern age. Rather than skimp on attack, the quarter back and wingbacks keep ahead of the two centre backs the entire game. Attacking is tricky, as there is only one striker, so the wingers must be able to pass well, dribble, and feed the striker not overhead crosses, but crisp ground passes. the attacking midfielders and wingers must be the fittest players on the pitch.
