Newcastle tweaked formation: 5-2-1-2......this formation may get the most out of Almiron. He is much more effective starting in the middle of the field & given licence to drift left/right, as opposed to being stuck at a wing position from the get-go. Almiron will give you much more counter-attacking presence in this setup. Option B is to lump balls forward & centrally into Carroll/Joelinton. Joelinton/Carroll (and Almiron) can make runs off each other's flicked headers.
