Poland seeks to play a direct and vertical style of football using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup focuses on quick transitions and utilizing wide areas to stretch the opposition. The goal is to move the ball forward rapidly through the middle before finding the attackers in space.

Łukasz Skorupski stays between the posts to manage the defensive unit. The back three consists of Jakub Bednarek, Jakub Kiwior, and Sebastian Walukiewicz. Bednarek acts as a central anchor who is dominant in the air. Kiwior and Walukiewicz provide cover and look to play out from the back when possible. This defensive unit works to stay compact and protect the central zone.

The midfield functions as a flat four to control the center of the pitch. Jacek Moder and Jakub Piotrowski operate in the middle to connect the defense to the attack. Moder works to win the second ball and protect the back three. Piotrowski looks to carry the ball forward and drive into the half spaces. On the flanks, Nicola Zalewski and Piotr Frankowski act as wide midfielders who provide width and track back to help the defense.

In the final third, Poland uses three attackers to pin the opposition back. Captain Piotr Zieliński plays on the left and uses his passing range to create chances. He links up with Karol Świderski, who acts as a pressing centre-forward to harass defenders. Szymon Szymański stays wide on the right to isolate defenders one on one. The front three look to make runs in behind to exploit gaps in the defensive line.

This formation offers Poland the ability to press high in coordinated waves. The presence of Zalewski and Frankowski allows for wide overloads when they push up to support the wingers. Having three central defenders ensures the team remains defensively solid during transitions. This setup also allows the team to switch play quickly to the flanks to find space.

The 3-4-3 formation allows Poland to strike quickly on the counter. It is a setup best suited for games where they need to hit teams in behind on the transition.
