Freire and Kryvtsov act as two tens who look to play through the lines and find Callender in tight spaces. The team attacks through quick combinations and looks to hit in behind on the transition. The forwards press the opposition back line to force a long ball and win the ball back quickly.

One major advantage for Inter Miami is the numerical superiority in the midfield. Having five players in the center allows them to compress the midfield and deny the turn for the opposition. The team also benefits from wide overloads when Messi and Alba push forward. This forces the opponent to shift and creates gaps for Freire or Kryvtsov to cut inside and attack the near post.
