The defensive unit is extremely thin, relying on a central pairing of Latham Kirkzde and Moussa Rimori to hold the center. These two must be able to cover massive amounts of space behind them, as the formation lacks full backs to provide wide cover. Kirkzde and Rimori must defend man-to-man in many situations, often forced to step up to intercept long balls or tackle attackers in large areas of open space.

The midfield is built around a central block that attempts to control the middle of the pitch through density. Lehte Piroja and Andreas di Lorenzo form a double pivot to shield the two defenders and recycle possession when the team builds from the back. Ahead of them, Pavel Kleived and Niccollo Sigissoni operate as two advanced midfielders in the half-spaces. Kleived and Sigissoni are tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and connect the defensive work of the pivot to the front four.

The attacking unit is incredibly heavy, utilizing four players to stretch the opposition. Vesley Doku and Marco Chieza act as wide wingers who provide width, while Alesso del Pierre and Peter Stilton operate as two central forwards. This front four is designed to pin the last defender and create constant chaos through runs in behind. The team relies on these forwards to press from the front, forcing the opposition into mistakes so the midfielders can collect the second ball.

A major tactical advantage for Juventus is the ability to create wide overloads and overwhelming pressure in the final third. The sheer number of attackers makes it difficult for a standard back four to track every runner. Additionally, the presence of Kleived and Sigissoni allows the team to press in coordinated waves, squeezing the space and making it very hard for the opponent to play out from the back.

This 2-4-4 formation is built for high-risk, high-reward attacking football. It is best suited for matches where Juventus can exploit a disorganized defense or when they need to chase a goal through constant pressure.
