Arsenal intends to control the game through high pressing and verticality with a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and move quickly toward the goal. The team seeks to dominate through high intensity and quick ball movement to unsettle the opposition.

FENANDO plays between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit works as a flat back four where THÉO and GUILHERME act as the central defenders. THÉO focuses on being dominant in the air while GUILHERME covers space behind the line. On the flanks, ADAM and MASAYUKI act as attacking full backs to provide width. They push high to support the attack and leave the central defenders to defend zonally against runners.

The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier. EDMUND sits in the middle to shield the defence and recycle possession. To his left, MARCUS works to connect the defensive and attacking lines by finding pockets of space. JAKOB plays as the more energetic runner who looks to drive forward with the ball and arrive late into the box. This trio works to compress the midfield and win the second ball to maintain pressure.

In the final third, Arsenal utilizes three attackers across the front to stretch the defence. MAXIMILIAN acts as the lone striker to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. On the wings, MATHIAS and ADRIEL function as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. Their movement creates space for the full backs to overlap the winger. The front line is tasked to press from the front to force a long ball from the opponent.

The tactical advantages of this Arsenal lineup include the ability to press high in coordinated waves to disrupt build up play. The team can also create wide overloads from overlapping full backs combined with inverted wingers. This creates high quality chances through cutbacks and crossing when the opposition is pushed back.

This 4-3-3 formation is built for heavy pressing and quick transitions. It is best suited for games against teams that try to play out from the back under pressure.
