Fagioli acts as the link to connect the defensive and attacking lines. On the right, Chiesa looks to cut inside and create chances, while Weah plays in the half spaces to drive forward. Locatelli focuses on winning the second ball, while Luiz works to intercept passes and recycle possession to keep the team moving forward.

Vlahović operates as a lone striker and uses his strength to hold up the ball. He works to pin the last defender and create space for teammates to arrive late into the box. Chiesa and Weah support him by making runs from deep to attack the space behind the defence. The team builds the attack through quick combinations in tight spaces and looks to hit in behind on the transition. Vlahović also functions as a pressing centre-forward to force a long ball from the opposition back line.

A key strength for Juventus is the ability to achieve numerical superiority in midfield. Having five players in the middle allows them to compress the midfield and squeeze the space between the lines. This makes it very difficult for opponents to play through the lines. The team also benefits from the speed of transition, using the pace of Chiesa and Weah to break quickly once the ball is won.
