Legia aims to play a high intensity game focused on quick transitions and direct attacking, utilizing a 3-3-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm the opposition in the final third and win the ball back high up the pitch. The team looks to stretch the defence by using extreme width and constant vertical movement to keep the opposition on the back foot.

Nsame operates between the posts to organize the defensive unit. Behind him, the back three consists of Luquinhas, Gual, and Elitim. Luquinhas and Elitim act as wide centre-backs who can cover the space left by advancing midfielders, while Gual stays central to anchor the line and win the header. This three man unit focuses on staying compact to prevent through balls while preparing to launch play out from the back.

The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier and two players providing support in the half spaces. Goncalves sits in the single pivot role to shield the defence and recycle possession. Vinagre and Wszołek operate ahead of him to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Vinagre looks to drive forward with the ball to bridge the gap, while Wszołek works to win the second ball and distribute it quickly to the front line.

In the attacking phase, Legia employs four attackers to create chaos. Pankov and Kapuadi act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to spread the pitch wide. In the central areas, Ziółkowski and Tobiasz work as two forwards in a partnership. This duo aims to pin the last defender and make runs in behind. The attackers press from the front to force a long ball and create chances through quick combinations in the final third.

One major advantage for Legia is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to play out from the back. The formation also creates wide overloads when the midfielders push up to support the wingers.
