The team aims to overwhelm the opponent by committing many bodies forward to squeeze the space in the final third. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and strike with immediate intensity.

Nsame guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back three consists of Luquinhas, Gual, and Elitim. Luquinhas and Elitim act as wide centre-backs who can cover the space left by advancing midfielders. Gual sits in the middle to win the header and organize the defensive line. This back three functions as a narrow defensive block that focuses on stopping central penetrations while relying on the midfield to track back.

The midfield operates as a three man midfield with a carrier to link the lines. Vinagre and Wszołek work to win the second ball and push the play forward, while Goncalves acts to connect the defense to the attack. Vinagre focuses on winning duels in the middle, while Wszołek looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. This unit must be ready to drop into a mid block if the high press is bypassed.

Legia utilizes a front four to stretch the defence. Kapuadi and Pankov act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to create width. Ziółkowski and Tobiasz work as a two forwards in a partnership, combining to pin the last defender. These two forwards press the opposition back line relentlessly to force a long ball. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow Kapuadi or Pankov to cut inside and find the feet of the strikers.

One major advantage of this 3-3-4 is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which puts immense pressure on the opposition goalkeeper and defenders.
