Bari focuses on a high press and quick transitions within a 4-4-2 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike before the opposition can settle. The team aims to use verticality to move the ball from the back to the front as quickly as possible.

Caprile starts between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back four functions as a zonal line where Riveros operates as a right back to provide width. Calafiori plays as the right centre back and is dominant in the air when defending crosses. Bitshiabu holds the left centre back spot to cover the space behind the defensive line. Ferreira plays as the left back to help stretch the pitch. The defensive unit works to squeeze the space and keep the lines tight.

The midfield uses a diamond with a sitting midfielder to control the central area. Bajcecić sits in front of the defence to shield the back four and pick up runners. ES Barca operates on the left side of the midfield to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Dorgu plays on the right side of the diamond and is tasked to carry the ball forward. Gomes plays as the advanced tip behind the two strikers to create chances in the half spaces. This midfield group works to press in a mid-block and win the second ball.

The attacking front line uses two forwards in a partnership. Lautaro, who is the captain, acts as the main striker and looks to find the feet of the striker or run in behind. F.Rodrigues plays alongside him to create combinations in tight spaces. They both press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.
