Racing Club aims to dominate through a high press and overwhelming numbers in the attacking third using a 2-5-3 formation. This lineup is built to pin the opposition back and win the ball high up the pitch to create immediate scoring chances. By sacrificing defensive depth, Racing Club pushes bodies forward to crowd the middle and the wings, forcing opponents to play long.

ARIAS stays between the posts to act as a sweeper behind a very high line. The defensive unit relies on a narrow two man back line consisting of GARCIA BASSO and DI CESARE. These two central defenders must be ready to step up to catch attackers offside or cover the space left behind when the midfield pushes forward. Because there are only two defenders, they must be dominant in the air and quick to intercept any direct balls that bypass the midfield.

The midfield is a crowded five man block designed to squeeze the space and control the center. SOSA acts as the central anchor to shield the defense and recycle possession. On either side, MARTIRENA and ROJAS operate as carriers to drive forward with the ball and link the play. The half spaces are occupied by ALMENDRA and JUANFER, who act as creative hubs to play through the lines. This midfield group works to win the second ball and quickly switch play to the attackers.

The front line utilizes three attackers to stretch the defense. SALAS and SOLARI act as wide wingers who stay high to pull the opposition full backs wide. MARAVILLA operates as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and find the feet of the runners. This attacking trio works to press the opposition back line from the front, forcing mistakes. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow the wide players to cut inside and attack the near post.

This formation offers massive numerical superiority in the middle and attacking thirds. Racing Club can create wide overloads by using the midfield players to support the wingers, making it difficult for defenders to track back. The high press in coordinated waves allows the team to win it back high up the pitch and launch attacks before the opposition can set their defensive line.

This aggressive formation is built for total territorial dominance and high scoring games. It is best suited for facing teams that sit deep and struggle to cope with constant pressure in the final third.
