The midfield consists of a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative presence. G. Fernandes plays as a central midfielder who drives forward with the ball and connects the defensive and attacking lines. F. Ay works alongside him to press aggressively and win the second ball in the middle of the pitch. E. Muci operates as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find pockets of space and play through the lines. This midfield unit is tasked with protecting the space in front of the back three while ensuring the team can transition quickly.

Besiktas utilize two forwards in a partnership to lead the line. Rafa plays as a second striker in the hole to link up play between the lines, while S.
