Legia plays an extremely aggressive and direct style of football using a 3-3-4 formation. The lineup is designed to overwhelm the opposition through intense pressure and high numbers in the attacking zone. The formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and attack with speed to catch the opponent out of position. The goal is to dominate the final third by forcing constant turnovers.

Nsame acts as the last line of defence in goal. The defensive unit functions as a back three with Kapustka, Gual, and Luquinhas. Kapustka and Luquinhas act as wide centre-backs who cover the flanks when the team pushes up. Gual stays central to win the header and defend the zone. This defensive unit works to hold a high line to squeeze the space and keep the team compact.

The midfield is anchored by Goncalves, who plays as a single pivot to shield the defence. He works to intercept the ball and recycle possession to start new attacks. Vinagre and Wszołek occupy the midfield, with Vinagre looking to connect the defensive and attacking lines. Wszołek is ready to carry the ball forward and drive into the half spaces. They must press aggressively to win the ball back high up the pitch.

The front line uses Pankov and Kapuadi as wide wingers to stretch the defence. They look to cut inside and create space or get to the byline to deliver a cross. In the middle, Ziółkowski and Tobiasz act as a strike partnership. They work to find the feet of the striker and make runs in behind the last defender. This lineup aims to split the defence with a through ball and create constant scoring chances.

One primary tactical advantage is the numerical superiority in the attacking third. By committing four players, the team can isolate wide players in one on one situations. The formation also allows the team to press high in coordinated waves. This heavy pressure forces a long ball from the opposition, which the back three can then intercept.
