Armani stands between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line operates as a back five with Peña Biafore acting as the central man to sweep behind the others. Gattoni and P.Díaz play as the wide centre-backs, providing aerial strength and covering the space behind the wing backs. Sant'Anna and E.Díaz operate as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and tracking back to form a flat five when the team sits deep.

The midfield is a compact block designed to squeeze the space between the lines. Aliendro sits in the single pivot role to shield the defence and recycle possession. Next to him, Simón and Mastantuono occupy the central spaces to press aggressively and win the second ball.
