Zukic plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the main creator to play through the lines. This five man midfield can compress the midfield very quickly to win the second ball and recycle possession.

Up front, the team uses three attackers to stretch the defence. Atanga and Ballo act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to create width. They look to get to the byline and whip it in for the striker. T. Sabitzer operates as a pressing centre forward, looking to hold up the ball and lay it off to the runners. The front three work to pin the last defender and create runs in behind.

This formation offers huge tactical advantages. The main strength is the numerical superiority in midfield, which makes it hard for opponents to play through the lines. By using five players in the center, the team can easily squeeze the space and win it back high up the pitch.
