Al-Nassr aims to control the tempo through a high press and verticality using a 4-3-3. The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a single pivot providing a base. Ben sits in the deep position to shield the defence and recycle possession. Moving ahead, Vice and Say no more act as the two eight roles, connecting the defensive and attacking lines. Vice looks to drive forward with the ball into the half-spaces, while Say no more works to press aggressively to win the ball high and distribute it quickly. This unit is vital to progress through the thirds and ensure the team stays connected during the build up.

In the final third, the team uses three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Chinedu acts as the central striker, often looking to find the feet of the striker or run in behind the defence. On the flanks, Prince and Ebuka operate as wide wingers who look to cut inside and threaten the goal. Prince pulls wide to stretch the opposition before cutting in, while Ebuka looks to isolate a one on one wide. The movement of these three players is designed to create runs in behind and allow for quick combinations in the box.

Al-Nassr gains a significant advantage through their ability to press high in coordinated waves, forcing the opponent into mistakes. The presence of the three midfielders allows for numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch when they win the second ball.
