The midfield operates in two lines of two to cover the width of the pitch. Villagra and Peña occupy the central roles, where they work to win the second ball and recycle possession. Peña helps shield the defence, while Villagra looks to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. On the flanks, Simón and Mastantuono provide the necessary width. Simón acts as a wide midfielder who can track back to help the defense, while Mastantuono uses his dribbling style to beat his marker and drive toward the box. The attack is led by a partnership of two forwards. Borja acts as the main striker and uses his strength to hold up the ball and bring others into play. Echeverri plays as the second striker in the hole, looking to find pockets of space between the opposition midfield and defence. They press the opposition back line to force mistakes and turnovers. The double pivot of Peña and Villagra provides compactness when defending in a mid-block, making it hard for opponents to play through the center. Additionally, the movement of Echeverri allows the team to isolate Borja in one on one situations against a lone centre back.
