DOKSURI guards the goal as the last line of defense. The back four stays organized in a zonal line, with MC LEE on the left and JH PARK on the right. HEAVY and BLESSING CHOI act as the central defenders to hold the line. HEAVY is dominant in the air to win headers, while BLESSING CHOI provides cover to sweep behind the high line when needed. The full backs, MC LEE and JH PARK, must be ready to track back and double up on wide attackers to prevent crosses.

The midfield functions as a five man block to dominate the center of the pitch. DONGU KANG and PANG form a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. YES HWANG plays as the central link, sitting in the hole to connect the defense and the attack. In the advanced roles, KW CHOI and JOHN KIM occupy the half spaces to provide width and support the lone striker. This grouping helps Germany to recycle possession and squeeze the space in the middle.

Worship MIN acts as the lone striker, tasked with holding up the ball and finding the feet of his teammates. The attacking play often relies on the wide movements of KW CHOI and JOHN KIM. They tend to cut inside to create numerical superiority in the box, which allows the full backs to overlap and deliver crosses. Worship MIN looks to make runs in behind to exploit any gaps in the opposition defense during a break. The team builds attacks by playing short from the back and progressing through the thirds.

A major tactical advantage for this lineup is the ability to create numerical superiority in the midfield. By packing the center with five players, they can intercept passes and deny the turn for attacking midfielders. Another strength is the speed of transition. When DONGU KANG or PANG intercept a pass, they can immediately switch play to the flanks to catch the opposition out of position.
