Starting Lineup

Ashton · Charlie · Big Man · Haxsquad · Mindset · Lecker · Jadon · Kayz · Tidy · Marshall · Pechorin

Leeds plays a high press game using a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and move the play forward with speed. The team looks to squeeze the space and force turnovers in the opposition half to create immediate scoring chances.

Ashton stays between the posts to manage the defensive line. The Leeds back four operates with a high line to keep the unit compact. Big Man acts as a ball playing defender on the right, while Haxsquad covers the left side. Charlie provides width as an attacking full back on the right, and Mindset performs similar duties on the left to stretch the defence. The central pair must be ready to step up and intercept passes or drop to cover space behind them.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a deep-lying presence. Lecker sits in front of the back four to shield the defence and protect the center. Jadon and Kayz operate as the two more advanced midfielders. Jadon often carries the ball forward to drive into the half-spaces, while Kayz works to connect the defensive and attacking lines. They must press in pairs to ensure the midfield remains tight when the opposition tries to play through the middle.

Leeds uses three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Marshall acts as a pressing centre-forward to harass the opposition centre-backs. On the flanks, Pechorin and Tidy operate as inverted wingers who cut inside to create space for the full backs. Pechorin and Tidy look to find the feet of the striker or play one-two combinations to break the line. This attacking setup relies on quick transitions and runs in behind to catch the opposition out of position.

One major advantage of this lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build from the back. The team also creates wide overloads by having Charlie and Mindset push forward to overlap the wingers. This allows Leeds to maintain numerical superiority in the attacking third.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for a high intensity, aggressive style of play. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
