Leeds focuses on a high press and vertical play through a 4-3-3 formation. Ashton sits between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line operates as a flat back four, with Charlie acting as the right back to provide width and Mindset playing as the left back to push up the flank. In the middle, Swift and Haxsquad work as the central defensive pair to hold the line and win the second ball. They must stay compact to prevent through balls while Swift looks to cover space behind the advancing full backs.

The midfield operates with a single pivot system to control the center of the pitch. Ratchet acts as the defensive shield to protect the back four and recycle possession when the team faces pressure. Next to him, Jadon and Kayz operate as two advanced eight players who drive forward with the ball to connect the defense to the attack. Jadon and Kayz press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and are responsible for making late runs into the box to support the frontline.

The attacking front three is designed to stretch the defense and pin the last defender. Marshall leads the line as a lone striker who works to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. On the flanks, Tidy and Iron act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central overloads. This movement allows the wingers to occupy the half spaces, creating space for Charlie and Mindset to overlap the winger and deliver crosses into the box.

Leeds offers several tactical advantages through this specific setup. The team can create wide overloads from overlapping full backs, which forces the opposition defense to shift constantly. There is also a significant ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and the midfield to squeeze the space in the opponent half.
