This formation allows the team to compress the midfield and progress through the thirds, ensuring there is always a passing option to move the ball forward.

The attack features a partnership of two forwards. Rufer plays as the left striker to find space, while Coveny operates on the right. They look to combine in tight spaces and pin the last defender to create room for Jackson. Jackson acts as a shadow striker to arrive late into the box and support the front two.
