Andreas Pereira plays as a carrier who can drive forward with the ball and uses his passing range to find the attackers. This duo must work hard to cover the space left by the advancing full backs. They serve as the link to progress through the thirds and recycle possession when needed.

The attack features four players across the front. H. Wilson and Iwobi operate as wide wingers to stretch the defence. Iwobi likes to cut inside to find space, while H. Wilson seeks to get to the byline and whip it in. Up front, Rodrigo Muniz works as a target man to hold up the ball, and Smith-Rowe plays as a second striker. Smith-Rowe looks to arrive late into the box or play a one-two with the striker to break the line.

This formation offers massive attacking presence. Fulham can use wide overloads when Robinson and Iwobi push forward together.
