Gorosito stays more disciplined to balance the defense. In the center, C. Lema and J. Figal operate as a pair of central defenders tasked with winning the second ball and staying compact. They must hold the line to prevent long balls from bypassing the midfield.

The midfield consists of a double pivot designed to control the center of the pitch. M. Benítez and J. Miramón work together to shield the defense and recycle possession. J. Miramón focuses on driving forward with the ball to link the lines, while M. Benítez works to intercept passes and win it back quickly. This two-man midfield must be very disciplined to avoid leaving the back four exposed when the team pushes forward.
